As part of his familiarisation process, the new Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Serbia, H.E. Mr. Thomas Schieb paid a visit to NATO MLO Belgrade. 

The German Ambassador was briefed by Chief MLO Belgrade, Brigadier General Cesare Marinelli, on the mission, tasks and structure of the Office and got a situational update of NATO-Serbia relations. After an intensive exchange of views concerning recent political developments in Serbia and the region, Ambassador Schieb signed the MLO guest book. He reaffirmed German support to the NATO Military Liaison Office in Belgrade.
