Slovenia's Defence Minister visits NATO MLO Belgrade

BELGRADE - Defence Minister of Slovenia Andreja Katic paid a visit to the NATO MLO Belgrade during her official visit to Serbia.

Chief of MLO, Brigadier General Cesare Marinelli, introduced the Minister with the work of the Office and NATO's assistance programmes for Serbia's defence reform.

The two sides particularly discussed the current security situation in the region and underlined the importance of KFOR in preserving stability in Kosovo.

During her visit to Serbia Minister Katic met with Minister Zoran Djordjevic and attended the "Steel 2017" military exercise.
