General Marinelli said that NATO appreciated its partnership with Serbia and, in particular, the country’s policy of military neutrality. "It is only up to Serbia to decide what kind of security arrangement it wants to have with the Alliance. We have a great cooperation with many neutral countries, such as Austria, Finland, and Sweden.”

He also noted that NATO and Serbia were cooperating in many ways, but that the Serbian public was barely aware of it and thus more efforts in the field of public diplomacy was needed.

Assistant Minister for Security Policy, Ambassador Branimir Filipovic, Deputy US Ambassador Kurt Donnelly, and MP Dragan Šormaz also took part in the panel.
