BELGRADE - Chief of MLO, Brigadier General Cesare Marinelli, met with Commander KFOR, Major General Salvatore Cuoci, to discuss cooperation between the NATO MLO Belgrade and KFOR.

The meeting was an opportunity to strengthen the links between the two missions, particularly on information share and Belgrade’s supporting role to KFOR. The two interlocutors also discussed the security and political situation in the Western Balkans, highlighting the important role of NATO’s missions in maintaining regional stability.

General Cuoci is the 22th Commander of KFOR since the mission’s establishment in 1999. He assumed his duty on November 15 this year.
