"NATO and Serbia are partners and neighbours. When neighbours work together, dealing with shared security concerns, all of us are safer and more prosperous," said Brigadier General Vitale. 

Both sides expressed satisfaction with the dynamics of political dialogue at the highest level, as well as practical military and civilian cooperation in a number of areas within the Partnership for Peace Programme, with more than a hundred partnership activities carried out annually.

My arrival coincides with the adoption of the new Individual Partnership Action Plan, tailor-made to suit Serbia’s needs, designed in accordance with the principles of the Partnership for Peace – free choice, transparency and flexibility, based on the clearly defined policy of Serbian military neutrality" said Chief MLO.
