BELGRADE - NATO’s Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR) General Tod D. Wolters visited Belgrade, where he met with top Serbian military and state officials including the President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic, Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin and Chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces (SAF) General Milan Mojsilovic. The main topics discussed included the high cooperation between NATO and Serbia and the communication between SAF and KFOR.

“NATO fully respects Serbia and its decision to maintain its military neutrality. It is Serbia’s decision to determine the kind of relationship it wants to have with NATO” said General Wolters stated during his visit and underlined that NATO and Serbia cooperate on a number of practical issues such as the destruction of obsolete ammunition and preparation of the population to deal with natural disasters.
