ORGANIZATIONAL WORKSHOP HOSTED BY THE IRAQI MINISTRY OF DEFENCE M9 DIRECTORATE TO SHARE EXPERTISE

On 3rd and 4th September 2019, the Iraqi M9 Directorate (Organizational authority) organized a workshop related to the current Iraqi military structure. NATO Mission Iraq members participated to the event and shared some examples of military structures used by Spain, Italy and United Kingdom. In addition to better understanding the current structure, participants were able to discuss the future of organizations and institutions within the Iraqi Ministry of Defence. NATO Mission Iraq supports this initiative contributing to develop an achievable and sustainable military force structure.
