NATO MISSION IRAQ MEMBERS CONTRIBUTE TO THE SUCCESS OF THE IRAQI DEFENCE LANGUAGE INSTITUTE ENGLISH COURSE

The graduation ceremony for the 2019 English Course took place on August 8 at the Iraqi Defence University for Military Studies in presence of the university president, staff Lieutenant-General Jameel Kamel Abdullah Al-Shamary and NATO Mission Iraq Professional Military Education and Training Division Head, Brigadier-General Rasim Yaldiz.

The commander of the Defence Language Institute, Major-General Mohamed Zeead Rashad Al Hamami, proudly addressed the guests as well as the 44 students from the Ministry of Defence who competed there Basic English Certificate.

NATO Mission Iraq contributed to the students’ learning by providing members whose first language is English during some practical lessons. Those new skills in English will allow students to interact more easily with international partners present in Iraq and continue to develop their security forces.
