The training was focused on the importance of the Information Operations means and capabilities, and the way to participate in the Operational Planning Process.
Participants were introduced to the NATO Strategic Communications, the role of Info Ops in planning, the tools synchronization and monitorization, and the crucial role of understanding of information environment.

Sixteen officers and
non-commissioned officers, most of them from intelligence branch of the Bosnia
and Herzegovina Armed Forces attended the course to gain a broader
understanding of NATO’s approach to integrate the information operations capabilities
with other military activities in order to participate in the planning process
and execution of operations as Info Ops staff.
The most appreciated part was that NATO trainers shared their knowledge, practices of Info Ops works and comprehensive real-life experiences which helped the students to better understand the way to employ those capabilities in the planning and execution of the operations.
The training was supported by good facilities in the “Rajlovac Barracs”, Sarajevo.
Bosnia and Herzegovina is a key NATO partner with a clear tendency and claim to be a member of NATO which can be appreciate in the high motivation of the participants.
