PARTNERSHIP INTEROPERABILITY ADVOCACY GROUP (PIAG) VISIT TO JFC NAPLES

JFC Naples- Partnership Interoperability Advocacy Group (PIAG) – consisting of Military Representatives (MILREPs) and Deputy MILREPs from Australia, Austria, Ireland, New Zealand and Switzerland – visited JFC Naples, on the 21st NOV, along with the Belgian Deputy MILREP, who acts as NATO link to PIAG.

The scope of the visit is in relation to the PIAG mandate, whose mission is to enhance effective military interoperability with NATO, adapted to the needs and levels of ambition of its members. In this regard, the visit focused on topics such as Current Operations, Exercise and Training with Partners contribution, and Interoperability challenges and successes. It was hosted by JFCNP DCOM and fully conducted by JFCNP DCOS Plans, upon the tailored preparation of JFCNP J9 Military Partnership Branch (supported by the relevant JFCNP stakeholders). The visit encountered the maximum expectations from PIAG members. Additionally, it represented the unique occasion for PIAG to appreciate the specific prerogative and intense commitment that JFCNP has within the NATO Partnership.
