LAGO PATRIA, Italy -- Ms. Radmila Shekerinska, North Macedonia Minister of Defence met with Admiral Robert P. Burke, Commander Allied Joint Force Command Naples in Lago Patria, Italy on 2 September 2021. 

Admiral Burke expressed his sympathy and condolences for the recent struggle with wild fires in North Macedonia.

During the meeting Admiral Burke expressed his gratitude for North Macedonia contributions to the KFOR mission underlining the importance of the mission within the Balkans Area. Currently, troops of the MKD Armed Forces contribute to the KFOR mission under JFCNP command.

Since North Macedonia became the 30th NATO Ally in 2020 it has increased its participation in NATO Joint exercises and is ready to contribute to other missions and operations.
