The team shared with the Republic of Moldova the way NATO conducts its exercise planning process, with four stages, also detailing the phases and sub-phases of the Stage 3 ( Operational Conduct) of an Exercise. Twenty staff-officers (OF-3 to OF-5) from Moldova were trained. This MTT had a special flavor, as the Team leader, LTC LE CERF, is also the J7 REGEX team leader, and the republic of Moldova was on the way to officially accept to host REGEX21. It was indeed the very special occasion to train the future MDA core planning team before the REGEX21 planning kick-off. The team could feel a strong interest and a very solid motivation from the participating officers.

One week after their return, the team had the pleasure to learn that on 29 Nov, the Republic of Moldova formally accepted to host REGEX21, giving this mobile training team the best possible way ahead. The next step will be the coordination meeting in early spring 2020, to produce the REGEX21 milestone schedule, probably with a first workshop during the summer 2020.
