JFC Naples Hosts Jordanian Armed Forces Delegation

LAGO PATRIA, Italy –Joint Force Command Naples hosted a Jordanian Armed Forces delegation for a staff meeting November 7.

The bi-annual talks reviewed military cooperation goals and objectives, exchanged information, and developed greater synchronized collaboration.

During their visit, the delegation reviewed multiple topics to strengthen the relationship between NATO and Jordan. Areas of focus included a review of 2019 activities, current partnership goals, and education, training, exercise, and evaluation (ETEE) opportunities for 2020 and beyond.

“Jordan is a very reliable, competent and active NATO partner. They had a many notable 2019 engagements and we expect their substantial NATO cooperation trend to continue into the future”, said COL Francois Marechal, the newly arrived Military Partnership Branch Head and meeting Chair.

Within the Mediterranean Dialogue framework, Jordan is an anchor of stability in the region.
