Naples, ITALY – Allied Joint Force Command Naples (JFCNP) hosted a Belgrade Centre for Security Policy (BCSP) delegation on January 31, 2019.
Led by the head of the J9 Military Partnership Branch, French Army Colonel Franck Faubladier, the visit explored cooperation between NATO and Serbia, a NATO partner country and member of the Partnership for Peace (PfP) framework since 2006.
The BCSP delegation consisted of four researchers and two journalists, one Serbian state TV reporter and one reporter of the daily newspaper "Blic.”
After British Major General Gary Deakin welcomed the Serbian researchers and journalists, Faubladier briefed the researchers about military cooperation between NATO and Serbia and the J3 Balkans Lead Office briefed them about NATO activities in the Western Balkans.
Representatives of JFCNP Strategic Communications (STRATCOM), the Public Affairs Office, the European Union Command Element, and NATO Headquarters International Staff answered the research questions of BCSP team and discussed the role of NATO in the Western Balkans with the researchers and journalists.
