Bosnia and Herzegovina - Brigadier General Reinhard Kloss, assistant chief of staff for civil-military interaction and cooperation and military partnership (ACOS J9), visited the Ministry of Defence of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) to conduct an expert staff meeting with BiH officers of the International Cooperation Sector.
The expert staff meeting is a partnership activity during which the participants analyse cooperation in the current year and agree on activities for the next year.
The talks are held once a year, in Sarajevo and Naples alternately.
During the discussions, Brigadier General Reinhard Kloss and Assistant Minister for International Cooperation, Mr. Zoran Sajinovic, highlighted the importance of cooperation between Joint Force Command Naples and the BiH Armed Forces.
Colonel Ostojic, the chief of International Cooperation department, expressed gratitude for the support provided by Joint Force Command Naples in terms of training and military education.
Brigadier General Kloss emphasized that the cooperation within the framework of the Partnership for Peace programme is outstandingly successful and that NATO appreciates BiH troop contributions to Resolute Support Mission and the will to further increase their contributions to NATO Operational Capability Concept pool of forces.
After the ministerial discussion, Brigadier General Reinhard Kloss visited the BiH Peace Support Operations Training Centre (PSOTC) in Camp Butmir.
PSOTC Commander Colonel Bajramovic informed Brigadier General Reinhard Kloss about new trainings and encouraged a closer cooperation in future.
