Foggo visits Bosnia and Herzegovina

SARAJEVO - Admiral James Foggo USN, Commander JFC Naples visited Bosnia and Herzegovina on Monday 6 May, during which he met members of the Presidency.

Discussion focused on the continuing partnership between NATO and Bosnia and Herzegovina and the welcome contribution of the Bosnian and Herzegovina Armed forces to NATO missions.

Admiral Foggo also reiterated NATO’s ongoing support with the modernization of the Armed Forces and the aspirations of Bosnia and Herzegovina to join NATO and the EU.

Admiral Foggo said "This has been a very interesting visit.  I’m always delighted to come to Bosnia Herzegovina and to see the progress that is being made with their aspirations to improve the lives of their citizens through Euro-Atlantic integration. NATO will continue to support this”.

Admiral Foggo also held discussions with the Minister of Defence, Ms Marina Pendeš, and the Chief of Joint Staff, Major General Senad Mašović.
