JFC Naples sailors volunteer at Centro Laila

NAPLES, Italy - Led by the First Class Petty Officer Association, members of Allied Joint Force command Naples volunteered at the Centro Laila Center outside of Lago Patria on June 9.

The center helps single mothers who are unable to take care or enroll their children in school due to financial resources or immigration status.

To help out the center, the volunteers brought food and clothing. The kids were also treated to a game of baseball as well.

"We had the pleasure of socializing with the children," said U.S. Navy Personnel Specialist 1st Class Vasile Mesaros. "It was fun playing soccer and baseball with the kids."
