Crew from JFC Naples makes advisory visit to Serbia

NAPLES, Italy -- An Allied Joint Force Command Naples civil-military cooperation and engineering monitoring team conducted an Operational Capabilities Concept Evaluation and Feedback (OCC E&F) advisory visit to Belgrade, Serbia, April 3 to 7, 2017.

The visit was a preparation for requested evaluations of Serbian Armed Forces declared units.

The JFC Naples Team provided exercise planners and national evaluation team members support and advice in advance of a national exercise, dubbed "Rock 2”, planned for Oct. 16 to 27 of this year. In addition, the NATO team and host nation crew reviewed and agreed on the most important evaluation and exercise documents in order to provide conditions for successful, transparent and valid evaluations.

Members of the monitoring team said that OCC E&F is a mutually beneficial and important tool that helps modernize the defense forces of partners and contributes to ongoing capacity building efforts in NATO.
