NAPLES, Italy - The logistics branch from Allied Joint Force Command Naples organised an internal course, held from Jan. 23 - 27, 2017, to improve and extend the knowledge of the Logistics Functional Area Service System for all logistics personnel at JFC Naples.

LOGFAS enables logistics planners at the strategic, operational, and tactical levels to effectively plan for movement and sustainment of personnel and equipment.

The course was completed with the coordination and full support of the NATO Communications and Information Systems School in Latina.

The instructors from JFC Naples, Lt. Col. Ioannis  Cecere, certified by NCISS, and his assistant, Warrant Officer Alessandro Charisiadis were able to conduct the course with the final certification of the NCIS School. The seven graduates received basic user knowledge of Logistic Reporting (LOGREP) and Sustainment Planning Module (SPM). The JFC HQ is planning to conduct a Movements and Transportation Fundamental Course (M&T), and additional LOGFAS courses can be held for other divisions on demand, as the need arises.
