DANILOVGRAD – A NATO Team, led by NATO Allied Land Command and supported by a NATO Allied Joint Force Command Naples representative, engaged with the Montenegrin Armed Forces to support their Accession and Integration Process by conducting a Crisis Response Planning Mobile Training Team (CRP MTT), 05th – 09th December 2016.
The MTT, composed of three subject matter experts and one coordinator, introduced 14 Montenegrin (Army and Air Force) Officers to the overall operational CRP process as structured in the NATO Comprehensive Operational Planning Directive (COPD) simulating to be integral members of a Joint Operational Planning Group (JOPG) during the development of a Crisis.
The training was conducted in the "MILOVAN SARANOVIC” barracks at the Army Training Center in DANILOVGRAD. The aim of the course was to introduce the students to the crisis response planning methodology through lectures, practical examples and active participation to the processes, relying on NATO experience and scenario studies.
This CRP MTT is a practical expression of NATO’s engagement through partnerships, an activity out of the NATO Support Plan to the National Integration Plan of Montenegro and highly contributes to the mutual trust and interoperability with NATO.
