NATO logistics members conduct mobile training in Sarajevo

SARAJEVO, Bosnia and Herzegovina - A mobile training team (MTT) from Allied Joint Force Command Naples, J-4 Logistics Division, conducted an operational level planning course at the Rajlovac Barracks, April 11 - 14, 2016.

The team of four JFC Naples instructors trained and mentored 14 officers of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the comprehensive operational planning process.

The training focused the students on the roles of a Logistics planner at the operational level and allowed them to apply the Comprehensive Operation Planning Directive (COPD) principles in a practical exercise.

Additionally, the structure and duties of the Joint Logistics Support Group and the duties of the liaison officer within the NATO structure were also covered.  Throughout the week, the training team enjoyed positive interaction with a class of proactive and enthusiastic BiH logistics students.

Throughout 2016 JFC Naples is conducting a wide range of  MTT engagements with partners in the region, including more Logistics Operational Planning events in the coming months.  MTTs represent excellent value for more training in partner countries and are an integral part of JFC Naples' efforts in Military Cooperation.
