KUWAIT, Kuwait City – The Allied Joint Force Command Naples Joint Mobile Training Team (JMTT) engaged with the KUWAIT (KWT) Armed Forces, December 04 – 07, 2016.

The team of non-commissioned officers (NCOs), OR-8 Patrick Krainer (DEU-A) led the team consisting of OR-8 Andres Ayan (ESP-N), OR-7 Victor Branco (PRT-A), OR-7 Gokhan Karaduman (TUR-A) and OR-7 Timm Niesner (DEU-N), trained 15 Kuwaiti Armed Forces NCOs on professional development and leadership training into a multi-national environment.   This training is based on the two weeks NATO certified "Intermediate Leadership in a Multi-National-Environment” course that is taught at the NATO-School Oberammergau and the Swiss Leadership Academy in Lucerne.

The training team was most impressed by the professionalism and enthusiasm of the KWT personnel.   "The training aided not only the KWT non-commissioned officers, but our training team NCOs as well,” said Warrant Officer Patrick Krainer. "All of us together were able to learn from each other and shared our experiences over the course of the week.”

The purpose of the JMTT is to develop leadership skills to work in an international environment, develop communication skills, enhance NCO supervisory skills, encourage ethical awareness and establish relationships with partner nation NCOs.
