JFC Naples JMTT conducts mission in United Arab Emirates


ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates - The Allied Joint Force Command Naples Joint Mobile Training Team (JMTT) engaged with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Armed Forces as part of their mission, November 6 – 10, 2016.

The team of five noncommissioned officers (NCOs) trained 21 UAE Armed Forces NCOs on professional development and interoperability in an international environment.

"The training is a perfect opportunity for both the UAE NCOs and the NATO NCOs to strengthen our relationship,” said German Air Force Master Sergeant Dennis Tappe, the JMTT trip leader.

During the week, the JFC Naples JMTT conducted classroom training to foster the UAE Armed Forces members with a unified multi-national perspective of NATO and partner nations.

This was the first time that a Joint Mobile Training Team was send by JFC Naples to the United Arab Emirates.

The purpose of the JMTT is to develop leadership skills to work in an international environment, develop communication skills, enhance NCO supervisory skills encourage ethical awareness and establish relationships with partner nation NCOs.
