JFC Naples J9 Military Partnership Branch conducts Expert Staff Meeting in Morocco

RABAT, Morocco – An Allied Joint Force Command Naples J9 Military Partnership Branch delegation successfully conducted an Expert Staff Meeting as part of the Military Cooperation activities between NATO and Morocco, February 23, 2016.

The delegation was composed of French Army Colonel Vincent Alexandre, Italian Air Force Lieutenant Colonel Gianluca Curtarelli and Spanish Army Major Jose Jesus Martinez.

The meeting was held at the Moroccans Royal Armed Forces Officers Club in Rabat. The event falls into the Mediterranean Dialogue framework and the purpose was to foster the Military Cooperation between Morocco and NATO.

The NATO delegation was welcomed by Royal Moroccan Armed Forces Colonel Major Mohamed Elassri (3rd Bureau) and several distinguish Moroccans Armed Forces Officers.

The meeting highlighted the importance of Military Cooperation with NATO particularly for Regional stability. An assessment of the activities conducted in 2015 and an excursion on planned activities for 2016 and 2017 was carried out.
