JFC Naples hosts Serbian Expert Staff Meeting


 

NAPLES, Italy - Staff from Allied Joint Force Command Naples J9 Military Partnership Branch (MPB) conducted an Expert Staff Meeting with the Serbian Department for International Military Cooperation, February 2, 2016.

Three members of the Serbian Ministry of Defence met with the MPB to discuss a review of the 2015 cooperation program between Serbia and NATO, the Operational Capabilities Concept Evaluation and Feedback (OCC E&F) perspectives for 2016 and beyond, Serbian participation in NATO exercises, the 2016 cooperation program and the 2017 Country Roadmap development.

"Our guests are very professional, extremely well prepared in the art of practical military cooperation and able to take full advantage of the capabilities NATO is offering," said MPB branch head, French Army Colonel Vincent Alexandre. He also concluded that all the objectives established for the day-long meeting were achieved.

JFC Naples oversees the Military Liaison Office in Belgrade, Serbia, which serves to facilitate Serbian cooperation with NATO under the Partnership for Peace program, support Serbia’s efforts in matters of defense sector reform, and provide assistance to NATO’s public diplomacy activities in the region.
