MLO Belgrade and NATO Contact Point Embassy organize discussions on IPAP
BELGRADE, Serbia - The NATO Military Liaison Office Belgrade and the Slovak Embassy, acting in its capacity as the NATO Contact Point Embassy in Serbia, organized round tables on the recently agreed Individual Partnership Action Plan document with local NGOs and NATO members’ diplomatic and military representatives accredited in Belgrade, February 20, 2015.
Balkan Officer from NATO HQ, Laurie Walker, spoke about the most important aspects of the recently agreed IPAP document with Serbia, focusing on the prospects it provides for deepening political relations and practical cooperation between NATO and Serbia.
Slovak Ambassador Jan Varso and Deputy Chief of NATO MLO, Greek Navy Col. Athanasios Pagkalos, also addressed the attendees, elaborating on the role of their missions in future IPAP-related activities.
The briefings were followed by question and answer sessions and discussions.
