MLO participates in NATO Military Partnerships Coordination Workshop
Chief of NATO MLO Belgrade Brigadier General Lucio Batta and his associates participated in a NATO Military Partnership Workshop that was organized in Belgrade from March 31 – April 4.
The primary aim of the workshop was to engage with partner countries on NATO’s planned military cooperation programs and activities, and hear their specific plans for 2015-2016. The event was opened by Deputy Chief of Staff Military Partnership, Major General Haluk Cetinkaya, who stressed the importance of the workshop for coordination of future activities between NATO and partners, and thanked the Serbian Ministry of Defence for supporting the organization of the event.
The workshop was also an opportunity for participants to engage in bilateral consultations and discuss other forms of military cooperation.
A separate meeting was organized in the Embassy of Slovakia, which acts as a NATO Contact Point Embassy in Serbia, to discuss the most important outcomes of the workshop with defense attaches from NATO member countries.
