MLO participates in conferences on cooperation with NATO
MLO representatives took part in two conferences dealing with NATO-related issues that were separately organized by the Atlantic Council of Serbia in Kovacica and the Assembly of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina in Novi Sad.
Chief of MLO, Brig. Gen. Lucio Batta, delivered a presentation on the most important mechanisms of NATO-Serbia cooperation within the Partnership for Peace, and briefed on the role of the office in facilitating this dialogue.
"I am glad to say that during the past two years we moved forward in our partnership with the number of cooperation mechanisms and joint projects steadily increasing,” said Brig. Gen. Batta, adding that NATO and Serbia are continuing working together on more than 40 officially agreed partnership goals.
He also said that the Serbian Armed Forces did a lot to improve interoperability and that its participation in the NATO Operational Capabilities Concept is helping Serbia to make the valuable contributions that it does to UN and EU peacekeeping missions.
