SACEUR stresses value of partnership with Serbia
Supreme Allied Commander Europe, General Curtis Scaparrotti, paid a visit to Serbia and met with President Aleksandar Vucic, Minister of Defense Aleksandar Vulin, and Chief of Defense, General Ljubisa Dikovic, highlighting NATO's commitment to strengthen partnership with Serbia.
"I am glad that NATO and Serbia have intensified our dialogue on the highest level and we look forward to explore new areas of cooperation with Serbia with full respect for your policy of military neutrality," said General Scaparrotti.
General Scaparrotti reiterated that KFOR will remain in Kosovo as long as it is needed, noting any changes on the ground would be condition-driven.
This was General Scaparrotti's first visit to Belgrade since he took over the duty of SACEUR in May 2016.
