Colonel Marco Javarone was born on December 25, 1972 in Turin.
He attended the Military Academy in Modena and the "Scuola di Applicazione" in Turin from 1994 to 1999 achieving a bachelor's degree in Political Science.
As artillery commissioned officer, he served the 2nd Field Artillery Regiment "Vicenza" in Trento and he was Coy Commander in the "Teulié" Military School in Milan.
In 2009, after having attended the "Corso di Stato Maggiore" in Turin, he obtained a second level master's degree in Strategic Science at the University of Turin.
His training process continued with a master's degree in International Strategic Military Studies in Rome. Moreover he attended the School of Landpower dell'Army War College in Pennsylvania (USA) from July 2020 to June 2021.
From 2009 to 2015 he served, as senior officer, at staff employment officer of the General Staff of the Army.
As Lieutenant Colonel, he was Battalion Commander at the "Teulié" Military School in Milan between 2015 and 2017.
From 2017 to 2020 he was employed at the NATO Rapid Deployable Corps in Solbiate Olona.
Colonel Marco Javarone took part in the following missions:
- Kosovo 2008 as Staff Officer at the Joint Implementation Commission in the HQ of KFOR in Pristina;
- Lebanon 2012 as Staff Officer at the Joint Operational Center in the HQ of UNIFIL in NAQOURA.
Actually he is the 83rd Commander of the Regiment Artiglieria Terrestre "a Cavallo" in Vercelli.
Colonel Javarone is married to Mrs. Francesca with whom he has two children.
