Colonel Daniele PISANI
Colonel PISANI was born in Civitavecchia near Rome on April 14th 1970. He attended the 172nd Military Academy Course in Modena from 1990 thru 1992 and the Officer’s Specialization School where he was commissioned 1st Lieutenant of the Artillery Corps in September 1994.
He has a degree in Political Sciences (International Politics) and a 2nd Level Master in Strategic Sciences from the University of Turin and a degree in International and Diplomatic Sciences from the University of Trieste.
He was Section at the 52st “TORINO” Artillery Regiment in Vercelli and platoon commander at the Military High School in Milano. Then he was Company Commander at the 7th CBRN Defense Regiment in Civitavecchia where he was deployed in Kosovo in 1999, 2000 and 2001.
From 2002 to 2004 he was assigned to the “Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) as Voluntary National Contribution (VNC) CBRN Staff Officer.
He attended the 131th Staff Officer Course at the Army’s Specialization School in Turin.
From 2005 to 2008 he was assigned to the Defense General Staff in Rome in the 3rd Division - Military Policy and Planning where he was appointed as Section Director.
He attended the 11th Joint Staff Officer Course at the Defense High Studies Center.
In December 2011 he was appointed as Battalion Commander at 7th CBRN Defense Regiment where he served until june 2013.
Thereafter, he was assigned to “AOSTA” Brigade HQ in Messina as Chief of operation, planning ad training office. During this duty he was employed in Resolute Support Operation – Afghanistan as TAAC-W CJ3 Chief, in national operation “Strade Sicure” as G3 Chief and in Operation NAXOS during the G7 Summit as J3 Chief.
On October 19th 2018 he was appointed as Commander of 24th Peloritani Arty Regiment.
Starting from June 13th he joined Kosovo Force as Commander of MNBG-W.
