Latvian soldiers of RC East conducted CRC training

PRISTINA - Latvian soldiers assigned to Regional Command East of the NATO-led KFOR mission conducted Crowd Riot Control training at the Kçiq/Kicic, Shooting Range in Kosovo.

This training exercise allows soldiers to familiarize themselves with the use of equipment and learn the tactics needed to deal with potential riot situations, allowing soldiers to be ready to accomplish any mission.

These efforts are part of KFOR's daily mission to guarantee a safe and secure environment for all communities living in Kosovo.

KFOR continues to implement its mandate - based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999 - to contribute to a safe and secure environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo and freedom of movement, at all times and impartially. KFOR works in close coordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union Mission on Rule of Law in Kosovo (EULEX).
