KFOR Units Conduct Crowd and Riot Control Training

PRISTINA - KFOR Tactical Reserve Battalion (KTRBN) and the Multinational Specialized Unit (MSU) of the NATO-led KFOR mission conducted Crowd and Riot Control training, in Camp Novo Selo to maintain their high operational readiness. A phase of activity was conducted in close coordination with Mobility Support Detachment (MSD) and with the Tactical Psyops Team (TPT).

During the exercise, a watercannon was also deployed as part of the training.

KFOR continues to implement its mandate - based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999 - to contribute to a safe and secure environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo and freedom of movement, at all times and impartially. KFOR works in close coordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union Mission on Rule of Law in Kosovo (EULEX) in their respective roles as security responders.
