KFOR Troops Boost Strength and Unity with Lifting Competition

PRISTINA - Multinational soldiers assigned to Regional Command East of the NATO-led KFOR mission completed a lifting competition on Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo. The event was hosted by the U.S. Army’s Morale, Welfare and Recreation team. Staying physically fit and mentally tough are critical to the overall success of our KFOR troops. These efforts are part of KFOR’s daily mission to support the people and communities of Kosovo.

KFOR continues to implement its mandate - based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999 - to contribute a safe and secure environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo and freedom of movement, at all times and impartially. KFOR works in close coordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union Mission on Rule of Law (EULEX) in their respective roles as security responders.
