KFOR Soldiers Participate in Voluntary Blood Donation

PRISTINA - Italian Liaison Monitoring Team soldiers, assigned to Regional Command East of the NATO-led KFOR mission, teamed up with the Department of Blood Transfusion of the University Clinical Center of Kosovo in Pristina for a voluntary blood donation day, with KFOR soldiers offering support to all people and communities living in Kosovo.

The Commander of the NATO-led KFOR mission, Major General Enrico Barduani, also sponsored the initiative, emphasizing the multinational contingent’s concrete commitment to supporting the Kosovo community and demonstrating the solidarity of NATO soldiers engaged in the mission.

This act of solidarity reflects a deep sense of humanity and strengthens the bond between KFOR and all communities across Kosovo.

KFOR continues to implement its mandate—based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999—to contribute to a safe and secure environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo and to ensure freedom of movement, at all times and impartially. KFOR works in close coordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union Mission on Rule of Law in Kosovo (EULEX) in their respective roles as security responders.
