KFOR Honours Italian, Croatian, and North Macedonian Troops in Medal Parade

PRISTINA - The Commander of Regional Command West of the NATO-led KFOR mission, Colonel Francesco Errico, presided over the Medal Parade Ceremony for the Italian, Croatian, and North Macedonia’s contingents at Camp Villaggio Italia in Peja/Pec.

During the ceremony, Colonel Errico expressed his gratitude to the decorated personnel for their outstanding contribution to KFOR’s mission in maintaining a safe and secure environment for all communities in Kosovo. He presented them with the non-Article 5 NATO Medal in recognition of their exemplary dedication and service.

KFOR continues to implement its mandate - based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999 - to contribute to a safe and secure environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo and freedom of movement, at all times and impartially. KFOR works in close coordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union Mission on Rule of Law in Kosovo (EULEX) in their respective roles as security responders.
