COMKFOR Meets Mr. Ejup Maqedonci to Strengthen Cooperation

PRISTINA - The Commander of the NATO-led KFOR mission, Major General Enrico Barduani, met with Mr. Ejup Maqedonci in Pristina.

During the meeting, they discussed the current security situation at regional and broader level.

They also exchanged views on the importance of continued cooperation between KFOR and its security counterparts, for the benefit of all the communities living in Kosovo.

Maj. Gen. Barduani also praised Kosovo Security Force's renewed contribution in Ex GOLDEN SABRE 25, and its outstanding performance in line with its original mandate.

KFOR continues to implement its mandate - based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999 - to contribute to a safe and secure environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo and freedom of movement, at all times and impartially. KFOR works in close coordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX) in their respective roles as security responders.
