KFOR Commander Hosts U.S. Congressional Delegation to Discuss Regional Stability

PRISTINA - The Commander of the NATO-led KFOR mission, Major General Enrico Barduani, hosted a Delegation of the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives, at KFOR Headquarters in Camp Film City, in Pristina.

The delegation, composed of 15 staffers, is part of the Atlantic Council’s Balkans Forward Congressional Fellowship.
During the visit, the Commander hailed the US’ long standing contributions to KFOR efforts and to regional stability, and shared his views on the latest developments in Kosovo and on KFOR’s activities.

Major General Barduani also underscored KFOR’s steadfast commitment to a peaceful and stable Kosovo, including through the support to the EU-facilitated Dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina.

KFOR continues to implement its mandate - based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999 - to contribute to a safe and secure environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo and freedom of movement, at all times and impartially. KFOR works in close coordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union Mission on Rule of Law in Kosovo (EULEX), in their respective roles as security responders.
