Italian Soldiers Patrol Klina to Reinforce KFOR Security

PRISTINA - Italian soldiers of the Regional Command West of the NATO-led KFOR mission conducted patrols in the municipality of Klinë/Klina.

Patrolling is a key activity that reinforces KFOR’s presence, contributing to security and stability with impartiality and respect. In line with this mission, peacekeepers maintain a high level of vigilance and efficiency, ensuring they are always prepared and effective in all conditions.

KFOR continues to implement its mandate—based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999—to contribute to a safe and secure environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo and to ensure freedom of movement, at all times and impartially. KFOR works in close coordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union Mission on Rule of Law in Kosovo (EULEX) in their respective roles as security responders.
