Italian KFOR Units Spread Easter Joy to Children Across Kosovo

PRISTINA - Italian Liaison Monitoring Team (LMT), Carabinieri of the Multinational Specialized Unit (MSU) and the KFOR Italian Chaplain of the NATO-led KFOR mission, supported the Association for Spiritual Assistance to the Italian Armed Forces (P.A.S.F.A.) in the charity initiative ‘Easter with PASFA 2025’.

Easter eggs purchased by the Italian KFOR contingent were donated to children of different schools of Kosovo as the ‘Dimitrije Prica’ school in Bërrnice e Poshtme / Donja Brnjica, the ‘Azemi e Salihu’ school in Dabishec / Dabiševac, the ‘Association of Independent Living’ in Vitomericë / Vitomirica and to the ONG "S.O.S. Children's Village" at the Oncology Hospital Pediatrics in Pristina.

This effort was part of regular projects conducted by KFOR in support to the local communities' needs.

KFOR continues to implement its mandate - based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999 - to contribute to a safe and secure environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo and freedom of movement, at all times and impartially. KFOR works in close coordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union Mission on Rule of Law in Kosovo (EULEX) in their respective roles as security responders.
