COMKFOR Visits BENELUX Multinational Contingent at Camp Novo Selo

PRISTINA - The Commander of the NATO-led KFOR mission, Major General Enrico Barduani, visited BENELUX (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg) multinational contingent at Camp Novo Selo.

The contingent, assigned to KFOR’s Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Battalion, provides valuable UAS (Unmanned Aerial System) capabilities that contribute to maintaining up-to-date situational awareness for the KFOR Mission Commander.

During his visit, General Barduani expressed his gratitude to the soldiers of the multinational contingent, recently deployed to Kosovo, for their valuable contribution and dedication to ensuring a safe and secure environment.

KFOR continues to implement its mandate - based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999 - to contribute to a safe and secure environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo and freedom of movement, at all times and impartially. KFOR works in close coordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX) in their respective roles as security responders.
