They discussed views on various topics, including lasting security across Kosovo, regional stability situation and KFOR’s efforts in support to the EU-facilitated dialogue between Pristina and Belgrade.

Major General Barduani also congratulated with the Ambassador Sprecher for CHE’s long-standing contributions to KFOR and to regional stability.

This meeting was part of Major General Barduani’s regular interactions with his relevant counterparts in Kosovo and across the region.

KFOR continues to implement its mandate - based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999 - to contribute to a safe and secure environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo and freedom of movement, at all times and impartially. KFOR works in close coordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union Mission on Rule of Law in Kosovo (EULEX) in their respective roles as security responders.
