COMKFOR Hosted the Visit of Germany Joint Forces Commander

PRISTINA - The Commander of the NATO-led KFOR mission, Major General Enrico BARDUANI, hosted the visit of The Commander DEU🇩🇪 Joint Forces Command, Lieutenant General Alexander Sollfrank, at KFOR Headquarters, in Camp Film City in Pristina.

During the visit, they exchanged views on the current security situation across the region.

General Sollfrank appreciated KFOR’s efforts on ensuring a safe and secure environment for all people living in Kosovo and in support to the EU-facilitated dialogue between Pristina and Belgrade, which the COMKFOR urged to carry on in a renewed, resolute spirit.

Major General Barduani also congratulated with Lieutenant General Sollfrank for Germany’s long-standing contributions to KFOR and to regional stability.

KFOR continues to implement its mandate — based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999 — to contribute to a safe and secure environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo and freedom of movement, at all times and impartially. KFOR works in close coordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union Mission on Rule of Law in Kosovo (EULEX) in their respective roles as security responders.
