Change of Command Ceremony for Task Force Aviation at KFOR HQ

PRISTINA - The Commander of Regional Command East (RC-E) of the NATO-led KFOR mission, Colonel Peter Helzer, presided over a change of command ceremony for Task Force Aviation at Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo.

During the ceremony, the outgoing commander, Lieutenant Colonel Bryan Reid, officially transferred authority to his successor, Lieutenant Colonel Brian Snook.

Colonel Helzer praised Lieutenant Colonel Reid for his exceptional leadership and unwavering dedication, and he extended his best wishes to Lieutenant Colonel Snook as he assumes his new role.

KFOR continues to implement its mandate — based on United Nations Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999 — to contribute to a safe and secure environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo, and to ensure freedom of movement, at all times and impartially. KFOR works in close coordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX) in their respective roles as security responders.
