Crowd and Riot Control Exercise

PRISTINA - Hungarian soldiers from KFOR Tactical Reserve Battalion of the NATO-led KFOR mission, conducted a Crowd and Riot Control exercise to maintain their high operational readiness. A phase of activity was conducted in close coordination with Mobility Support Detachment.

The crucial point of the exercise was the management of incendiary devices. The training aims to be prepared to face the fire threat mindfully and successfully, keeping self-control and full capability.

KFOR continues to implement its mandate - based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999 - to contribute to a safe and secure environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo and freedom of movement, at all times and impartially. KFOR works in close coordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union Mission on Rule of Law in Kosovo (EULEX) in their respective roles as security responders.
