KFOR  /  Media Center  /  Archive  /  News  /  2024  /  U.S. Medical Soldiers and NATO KFOR Team Trained in Water Rescue by Kosovo SAR at Dhërmi Beach, Albania

The U.S. medical soldiers and the Civil and Military Cooperation Team from Regional Command East of the NATO-led KFOR mission were trained by members of the Kosovo Search and Rescue Association at  Dhërmi Beach in Himarë, Albania to improve their ability to respond to water-related emergencies. 

This initiative is part of regular activities conducted by KFOR in support of local communities' safety and security.
