The event chaired by the Deputy Commander of RC WEST, Lt. Col. Florenc Veliu, was attended by all the Regional and Station Commanders of the Kosovo (KP) West Police, the Regional Commander of the Border Police (KBBP) and a representative of the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX) and other local authorities.

The meeting was an opportunity to analyze the excellent results obtained from the activities carried out jointly or in cooperation between KFOR and the police forces operating in the area of ​​responsibility of the Regional Command West.

The topics discussed during the conference, but above all the useful suggestions for improvement proposed by many participants, confirmed the usefulness of the meeting.

KFOR continues to implement its mandate - based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999 - to contribute to a safe and secure environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo and freedom of movement, at all times and impartially. KFOR works in close coordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union Mission on Rule of Law in Kosovo (EULEX) in their respective roles as security responders.
