KFOR Commander visits Camp Bondsteel, meets Multinational Personnel

The Commander of the NATO-led KFOR mission, Major General Özkan Ulutaş, visited Camp "Bondsteel", where he met with Albanian, Bulgarian, Greek and Romanian personnel assigned to the 2nd Multinational Operational Reserve Battalion. He was welcomed by the Commander of the ORF Battalion, Major Evangelos Charisopoulos and by personnel from HQ.

During his visit, Major General Özkan Ulutaş was briefed by the unit’s Commander on ongoing activities and the current security situation, including along the Administrative Boundary Line; after the briefing, COM KFOR met the Greek Company belonging to the Battalion.

Major General Ulutaş expressed his appreciation to the Greek soldiers for their steady commitment and their significant and continued contributions to KFOR's daily efforts in ensuring a safe and secure environment of all communities living in Kosovo. He also hailed Greek’s long standing contributions to KFOR and regional stability.
