Today, the Commander of the NATO-led KFOR mission, Major General Özkan Ulutaş, met with the Italian Deputy Commander of Carabinieri, Lieutenant General Salvatore Luongo, at KFOR Headquarters, in Camp Film City, in Pristina.

They exchanged views on the current security situation, including on KFOR's activities under its UN mandate and its daily support to the EU-facilitated dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina. Major General Ulutaş hailed Carabinieri’s long-standing contributions to KFOR efforts and their benefits to regional stability.
