Major General Barduani thanked H.E. Pirc Musar for her cooperation and regular exchanges, they both agreed on the importance of coordination and dialogue, as the key for the consolidation of regional stability.

The Commander of the NATO-led KFOR mission also highlighted KFOR’s daily efforts in support of lasting security for all communities living in Kosovo, in accordance with KFOR’s UN mandate.

Major General Barduani congratulated with President Pirc Musar for SVN’s long-standing contributions to KFOR and to regional stability.

KFOR continues to implement its mandate - based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999 - to contribute to a safe and secure environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo and freedom of movement, at all times and impartially. KFOR works in close coordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union Mission on Rule of Law in Kosovo (EULEX) in their respective roles as security responders.
